Description
Crankshaft
PCE forged standard weight crankshafts are designed for street or race engines with substantially increased horsepower. PCE crankshafts are precision-ground, heat-treated, shot-peened, inspected, and micro-polished for superior tolerance control. PCE crankshafts are also nitride-hardened for superior wear resistance, have straight-shot and chamfered oil holes, and feature lightening holes in all rod throws. These crankshafts also have a large radius on all journals for improved strength and wear resistance.
Connecting Rods
PCE H-beam connecting rods are one of the strongest connecting rods available. PCE H-beam connecting rods are perfect for supercharged and nitrous applications. These rods incorporate a special doweled cap for specific cap-to-rod alignment and are profiled with extra clearance for stroker applications.
PCE H-Beam Street / Strip connecting rods are manufactured from aircraft quality 4340 chromoly steel. The rods are x-rayed and ultrasonically tested with all surfaces shot peened and stress relieved.
Pistons
PCE Forged pistons are made from 4032 aluminum alloy for quieter operation and reduced piston to wall clearance. Up to 20% lighter than traditional forged pistons that eliminate harmful stress concentrations for superior strength. Specifically designed for naturally aspirated or moderate nitrous applications.
Piston Rings
PCE piston rings are designed to stand up to the rigor of racing and high-performance street use, while providing a long lasting life. PCE piston rings feature: Plasma-moly coated, barrel-shaped, ductile iron top rings that seal against blow-by when the piston rocks in its bore; tapered secondary rings that seal against the oil control ring_s upper surface for excellent oil control; and 3-piece oil rings with stainless steel expanders that provide accurate tension without the loss of any horsepower.
Gaskets
PCE now offers gaskets for all of the popular applications. From valve covers and carburettor base gaskets to full engine gasket sets. These PCE gasket kit sets include premium-quality head gaskets, intake gaskets, exhaust gaskets, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets, valve stem seals, and all accessory gaskets--everything that you need for a complete engine rebuild, all in one affordable set. If it has to seal right the first time PCE has what you need.
Main Bearings
PCE main bearings are just what you need to freshen up your engine. Why? They use silicon aluminum bi-metal construction. Silicon aluminum is the choice for many of today's engine manufacturers because of its high fatigue strength and superior temperature threshold. Bearing wear is dramatically reduced and the fatigue strength is greatly improved.
