Description
PCE forged standard weight crankshafts are designed for street or race engines with substantially increased horsepower. PCE crankshafts are precision-ground, heat-treated, shot-peened, inspected, and micro-polished for superior tolerance control. PCE crankshafts are also nitride-hardened for superior wear resistance, have straight-shot and chamfered oil holes, and feature lightening holes in all rod throws. These crankshafts also have a large radius on all journals for improved strength and wear resistance.
Less rotational mass per counterweight, that's the best way to ensure an engine can RPM higher and faster safely but you can only lighten a crank so much and still be able to balance to your combination. Our line of 8- counterweight performance 4340 crankshafts are the answer, by adding two counterweights to the crankshaft we effectively reduce the size of the other 6. The reduced amount of mass in each counterweight allows the crank to spin harder , faster more efficiently. That means more power! Excellent product
I was a little skeptical with the price but my engine builder loved it. He has been building raving engines since the late 50s. He ask what it was and where cold he get more. He said the balance was amazing and extremely hard finish. He compared it to a $2500 crankshaft. Great job team
