Project Blackbird Build Thread: Part Three

The Daytona Coupe build advances as major assembly milestones take shape.

Project Blackbird continues. Part Three of the build thread captures the Daytona Coupe as it moves past the structural and body-fitting stages covered in Parts One and Two, progressing into more detailed assembly work.

Build Progress

By Part Three, the cumulative hours invested in this build become visible in the details. The car is taking definitive shape - panel lines are established, major structural work is behind, and the focus shifts toward integrating the systems that will make this car not just a body on a chassis but a complete, functioning vehicle. Engine bay preparation, wiring paths, and component mounting all come into play at this stage.

Precision at Every Stage

A Daytona Coupe build demands consistency. The standards set in Part One carry through every subsequent phase. Tolerances that were established during chassis fabrication now dictate how components fit in Part Three. There is no shortcut through this process - each stage builds on the last, and the quality of the finished car is determined by the discipline applied at every step along the way.

What Comes Next

Part Four will continue the build as the project approaches its final stages. Follow real-time progress on The Hangar.
