Project Blackbird moves forward. Part Two of this build thread documents the next phase of work on the custom Daytona Coupe, picking up from the foundation established in Part One.
Progress Update
The images below capture the build as it advances past the initial chassis and structural stage. At this point, the car begins to take recognizable shape. Panels are being fitted, components are moving into position, and the cumulative effect of precise work in the early stages starts to become visible. A build like this rewards patience - each step informs the next.
Execution in Progress
The Daytona Coupe shape is one of the most demanding in automotive design. Its long rear deck, aggressive roofline, and integrated aerodynamic form mean that every body panel has to follow a precise contour. Fitment at this stage is not cosmetic - it is structural. How these panels sit now determines how the finished car looks and performs.
Following the Build
The Project Blackbird thread continues with Parts Three and Four as the build progresses toward completion. For real-time updates, follow the project on The Hangar.
