The Internet Conference Charity Ball
Speedmaster participated in the Internet Conference charity ball, an initiative of the Reach Foundation. The event supports the Reach Larapinta Trail Challenge - a programme that takes thirteen Reach supporters through the Australian outback to raise funds for the Foundation's work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
Community involvement is part of how Speedmaster operates. Supporting initiatives like the Reach Foundation reflects the company's commitment to contributing beyond the performance industry.
About the Reach Foundation
The Reach Foundation works with young Australians, with a particular focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The Larapinta Trail Challenge is one of its flagship fundraising efforts, combining physical endurance with direct support for youth programmes.
The charity ball brought together leaders from across the technology and business sectors, including Deborah Sharkey, Managing Director of eBay Australia and New Zealand, who has led the local operation since 2008. Sharkey's background spans digital media and international business, including roles at MindShare across Asia Pacific and Discovery Communications in the United States.
