Racing runs through the Dudek family. Fred Dudek, owner of Dizzy-fix - Australia's most respected engine distributor installation and repair workshop - earned the Super Stock championship and broke multiple records throughout the 1980s. His son, Rick, followed the same path, earning the 2010-2011 WSID Super Stock Champion title.
The Build
Rick's Ford VA XR8 runs a complete Speedmaster powertrain, engineered as an integrated system from radiator to rear end:
- Cleveland 383 complete crate motor
- Complete ignition system with crank trigger
- Race-prepped C6 gearbox
- 35-spline Pro 9-inch differential
Every component was selected to work together - not assembled from a parts catalogue, but configured as a matched drivetrain designed for the demands of Super Stock competition.
Why It Matters
When a second-generation racer with championship pedigree chooses a single source for the full powertrain, it reflects confidence in the engineering behind it. The Dudek program represents what Speedmaster systems make possible: a complete, race-ready platform built on components designed to perform as one.
