Back-to-Back Recognition
For the second consecutive year, Speedmaster CEO Jason Kencevski has been selected as a finalist for the SEMA Gen-III Innovator of the Year.
The Gen-III Innovator honor is awarded to a young leader who reflects the pioneering spirit of the original aftermarket industry founders. SEMA defines the recognition as identifying individuals whose work is changing the way the automotive aftermarket operates - whether through acting on a new trend, engineering an original product, or implementing ideas that better serve the current marketplace.
Building from a Clear Foundation
"I am truly honored to be placed in such distinguished ranks as those who have made important contributions in this industry." - Jason Kencevski, CEO, Speedmaster
Kencevski took the helm at Speedmaster in 2005. Within a year, he built and applied a business model that positioned the company as Australia's top online reseller for automotive parts. Today, Speedmaster's U.S. operations run from a 75,000-square-foot facility with hundreds of employees - a measured expansion driven by intentional growth rather than speculation.
The 2019 SEMA Show
The winner will be announced at the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet during the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, November 5-8. The evening will also honor this year's SEMA Hall of Fame inductees: Bob Chandler, Bruce Crower, and Marla Moore.
