A Speedmaster Chevy LS1 396 cubic-inch stroker crate motor was dyno-tested by Sydney Speed Supplies and delivered 533 HP (398 kW) on 98-octane pump unleaded fuel.

The Build

The engine is a Procomp Electronics CNC-headed long motor, paired with an Edelbrock carburettor manifold and topped with a Procomp Electronics 950 billet carburettor. The combination was designed to deliver strong, repeatable output on readily available pump fuel - no race-fuel requirement, no compromise on power.

Dyno Results

533 HP on pump fuel is a measured result, not a theoretical number. It represents what a builder can expect from this combination out of the crate and onto the dyno.
