Supporting Lighthouse Youth Initiative
Speedmaster contributed to the 2016 Ride Around the Lake, a charity cycling event held in Wollongong, NSW, on 7 May 2016. The event raised funds for Lighthouse Youth Initiative, an organisation working to break the cycle of youth homelessness in the Illawarra region.
Lighthouse Youth Initiative accommodates and supports young people aged 18 to 24 who are at risk of homelessness. The organisation also provides training and employment-related experience for disengaged youth, using a holistic approach to reconnect young people with the broader community.
