Downdraft Manifold Video Contest: Two Winners, Two Approaches

Trevor Farrington and Grant Crosby each earned a Speedmaster Downdraft manifold through the community video contest.

The Contest

The Speedmaster Downdraft Manifold Video Contest asked participants to submit a video explaining why they wanted the manifold. Over 100 entries came in, each making the case in its own way. The range and creativity of submissions made selecting a single winner impractical - so two were chosen.

The Winners

Trevor Farrington's entry stood out for its authenticity: a look inside the garage he shares with his personal chicken coop, grounding the build in real life. Grant Crosby took a different path entirely, submitting a rap-style lyrical piece about why the Speedmaster Downdraft manifold belonged in his build. Both entries earned the win on originality and genuine enthusiasm.

What Comes Next

Congratulations to both winners. Contests like this one reflect the community that has built up around the Speedmaster brand - builders who care about the work and are willing to show it. Details on the next video contest will follow.
