The Speedmaster Company Picnic: Building the Relationships Behind the Brand

A Family-Owned Business, Built That Way

Speedmaster is a family-owned business. That has been true since the beginning, and it remains true at scale. The company has grown significantly since 2005, but the operating principle has not changed: the people behind the brand are the foundation of the work.

Company picnics make sense for a business built on that principle. They create space for the team to connect outside the day-to-day operation, in a setting where conversations happen differently.

Food, Games, and Time Together

The format was straightforward. Burgers, grilled chicken, steaks, and dessert. Tug-of-war, blanket races, sack races, and volleyball. The kind of activities that require people to work together, which is exactly the point.

Growing up in Sydney as part of his father's automotive parts business, Jason learned early that strong relationships are not limited to customers. They start inside the building. The picnic is one expression of that thinking: invest in the team, and the quality of the work follows.

Back to Work

With the picnic behind them, the Speedmaster team returns to the operation with the relationships that matter most already in place. The commitment to delivering engineered, precise products and service to customers is unchanged. The team behind that commitment is stronger for the time spent together.
