Speedmaster has been nominated as one of Australia's top 100 online retailers by Power Retail, earning an invitation to the All Star Bash in Melbourne. The recognition follows a 2016 year defined by sustained growth across product development, e-commerce operations, and global reach.
2016 in Numbers
Over the course of 2016, Speedmaster expanded its catalogue from 15,000 SKUs to 100,000 - placing it among the top three largest aftermarket automotive sellers globally. The company recorded its highest-ever online and offline sales revenue, with February 2016 marking the single largest monthly sales figure in company history.
At the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Speedmaster added two more awards to its total - bringing the count to eight across seven consecutive years of the event.
Leadership Recognition
The growth extended beyond the company itself. CEO Jason Kencevski was nominated as one of the Top 50 Executives of the Year and the Gen III Innovator of the Year for a second consecutive year. COO Jay Verduzco was inducted into SEMA's 35 Under 35 for 2016.
On the strength of these results, Speedmaster was selected as the sole automotive case study for Pitney Bowes, the American global e-commerce provider powering digital and physical transactions for more than 1.5 million businesses worldwide.
Foundations That Scale
Speedmaster's position in online retail is built on the same foundation that has driven the company from the start: a commitment to the restoration market, in-house product development, and a global ecosystem designed for long-term growth. That foundation continues to shape what comes next in 2017 and beyond.
