Kibbetech Racing's #1466 Class 1400 truck earned a first-place finish at the SNORE Motion Tire 300 in Ridgecrest, California. Ridgecrest is widely regarded as the most demanding course on the SNORE calendar - often compared to the Mint 400 for the way it tests both driver and machine across extreme terrain.
Lap 1: From 17th to 2nd
The #1466 drew 17th starting position out of 33 trucks in class, leaving the line at 8:42 AM. The pace was set early. Over the course of the first lap, the truck moved through 16 class vehicles and more than 20 additional race entries, arriving at Main Pit in second place. The crew took on 22 gallons of fuel and completed a full inspection before sending the truck back out.
Lap 2: Taking the Lead
The second lap was run with controlled aggression - pushing hard without overloading the equipment. Battling through traffic on a deteriorating course, the team entered Pit C and observed the class leader stopped in his pit. From that point, the objective shifted to building a margin over the second-place truck. At Main Pit, the crew added 20 gallons of fuel, torqued all wheels, and confirmed the truck was in flawless mechanical condition. The crew chief cleared the driver to continue pushing on the final lap.
Lap 3: Bringing It Home
Running out front with a clean truck and a clear course ahead, the #1466 picked up the pace on the third lap. The truck completed the final circuit with zero mechanical issues and crossed the finish line in first place.
What the Result Represents
Starting 17th and finishing first - on a course designed to break equipment - is not a result that comes from speed alone. It requires a truck engineered to absorb sustained punishment, a crew that executes under pressure, and a driver who manages pace across three laps of the most challenging terrain on the SNORE schedule.
The #1466 delivered on all three. Ridgecrest confirmed what the program was built to do.
