Product Scale
Speedmaster showcased 35 new products at the 2023 show - part of a broader pace of 1,200 new products released annually. Kencevski outlined the company's in-house design, testing, and manufacturing process, emphasising that each product is developed and validated internally before reaching the market.
Supply Chain and Forward Planning
With more than 800,000 square feet of parts stocked, Speedmaster demonstrated how long-range planning - including 5- and 10-year strategies - allowed the company to maintain continuous production through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. The infrastructure was already in place before external conditions demanded it.
High-Performance Transmissions
Kencevski discussed Speedmaster's expansion into high-performance transmissions, including a newly released unit rated for up to 3,500 horsepower. The move extends the company's product range deeper into the drivetrain - consistent with its approach of delivering complete, engineered performance systems.
Industry Trends
The conversation also covered a growing interest in restoration - specifically, the demand for period-correct vehicles that are also drivable. Kencevski noted this aligns with Speedmaster's product philosophy: parts that serve both dedicated racers and builders focused on authentic restoration.
