A Night Without Comfort

On June 23, 2016, Speedmaster CEO Jason Kencevski joined over 1,400 CEOs across Australia for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout. A warm bed replaced by cold, hard concrete. A secure home replaced by a cardboard box. A full meal replaced by a cup of soup.

It was a cold, uncomfortable, and restless night. But it offered a small glimpse into the harsh reality that over 105,000 Australians face every single day, including 17,000 children.

The Problem Does Not End When the Event Does

The following night, every participating CEO returned to a warm home. That option does not exist for the men, women, and children who have no home to return to. The event raises awareness, but Australia's homelessness crisis extends far beyond a single night.

"Ready for another CEO Sleepout. Doing my part in representing Speedmaster to help raise awareness for Australia's homelessness." - Jason Kencevski, CEO, Speedmaster
