John Zappia secured the FUCHS Winternationals Top Doorslammer title at Willowbank Raceway, qualifying first with three consecutive 5.7-second passes and taking the final with a 5.833 at 252.90 mph in the Speedmaster Monaro.

Reigning ANDRA Top Doorslammer champion John Zappia qualified second with a 5.928 and set the meeting's top speed of 249.3 mph at the Pro Showdown opening round in Perth. Component issues ended his elimination run, but the pace is set heading into the Westernationals.
