West Coast Customs selected Speedmaster to supply fuel injection systems for two classic Mustang builds: a GT500 and a 1968 Midnight Purple Convertible. Both projects were featured on West Coast Customs' program on Fox Sports 2.
The builds represent what happens when modern fuel injection engineering meets classic American muscle. Speedmaster's fuel injection systems provided the precision fuel delivery these platforms required, replacing outdated carburetion with a system designed for reliability, tunability, and performance.
The Builds
Classic Mustangs are among the most frequently modified platforms in the performance market. The GT500 and 1968 Convertible each presented distinct requirements, and both used Speedmaster fuel injection to bridge the gap between period-correct appearance and modern drivability.
