Speedmaster Chief Digital Officer James Domensio has been recognised as one of Australia's Top 50 People in E-Commerce for 2021. The recognition follows a period of measurable digital acceleration within the company's first 12 months of his tenure.

The global pandemic reshaped how automotive aftermarket companies operated. For Speedmaster, it became an inflection point. With increased demand across digital and non-digital channels, the company leaned into its existing technology infrastructure and applied focused execution.

With COVID-19 restrictions in place, Domensio partnered with Chief Technology Officer Erickson Pereira to bridge operational gaps. In a compressed window, the team recruited and onboarded a 33% increase in headcount across multiple US states - a mix of automotive industry veterans and technology-focused talent.
