939 Horsepower from a Crate Big Block
Speedmaster's 540-inch Chevy big block project is featured in the August 2017 edition of Performance Racing Industry Magazine. The engine produces 649 horsepower from the crate and, after being tuned for maximum boost and nitrous injection, delivered 939 horsepower on the dyno - a 30 percent gain over baseline.
