One of Three Global Nominees
At the 2018 SEMA Show, Speedmaster CEO Jason Kencevski was named a finalist for the Gen III Innovator of the Year Award - one of three individuals selected globally for the recognition.
SEMA created the Gen III Innovator Award to recognise the top young individual from the specialty-equipment industry making breakthroughs in new products, new approaches to business, or setting new industry trends.
Building Speedmaster's Trajectory
Kencevski took over Speedmaster's leadership in 2005. Under his direction, the company became Australia's number one online automotive aftermarket brand and expanded its US operations to a 75,000-square-foot facility with hundreds of employees. The business model he implemented - focused on vertical integration, direct-to-consumer channels, and in-house manufacturing - reshaped how Speedmaster operates at a global level.
Being named alongside two other nominees from across the global automotive industry reflects the trajectory Kencevski has built - not through a single product or campaign, but through sustained, compounding decisions over more than a decade of leadership.
