Jasmine Nelson has been named Speedmaster's Employee of the Year for 2023. The award is peer-nominated - Jasmine received the most votes from her colleagues, a direct reflection of the respect she has earned across the organisation.

What Jasmine Built in 2023

Jasmine oversees every customer touchpoint at Speedmaster. In 2023, she maintained performance metrics at consistently high levels while leading the Micro Reseller Program to 477% year-over-year growth. That growth came from her implementation of new policies and systems within her department - decisions that directly expanded engagement with micro resellers and contributed to broader company results.

The Announcement

The Employee of the Year presentation took place at Speedmaster's Rialto facility before the team departed for the corporate retreat in Palm Springs. The award was announced in front of the full team.

Additional Recognition

Alongside Jasmine's award, three other team members were recognised for their contributions:

  • The Mountain Mover Award - Miguel Hernandez, for his consistency in solving difficult problems and delivering results under pressure.
  • The Get Shit Done Award - Felipe Hernandez, for focus, efficiency, and sustained productivity.
  • The Triple C Award (Charisma, Culture, Creativity) - Ayrton Galvez, for the energy and ideas he brings to the work environment.

From the CEO

Jason Kencevski, CEO of Speedmaster: "These awards underscore our commitment to recognising the diverse skills and talents within our team. Our people continue to demonstrate dedication, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to the work. They represent the talent that drives Speedmaster forward."

Looking Forward

The people behind the products define what Speedmaster is. Jasmine, Miguel, Felipe, and Ayrton each represent a different dimension of what makes the company operate at the level it does. Their contributions are measured in outcomes - not titles.
