Description
PCE electric fuel pumps feature an improved design for street and strip applications, a new lower housing casting for enhanced fuel flow. These pumps have a 140 gph flow rate, only draw 4 amps, and have a maximum pressure of 14 psi with an externally accessible pressure relief valve. They weigh only 3 lbs., and include a mounting bracket. These PCE electric fuel pump is compatible with alcohol or methanol fuels.
The needle and seat assemblies that are installed in PCE carburetors can sufficiently control fuel pressure up to about 8 psi. If the fuel pump is putting out more than 8 psi, a regulator should be used to keep the fuel pressure within safe limits and avoid the possibility of flooding. PCE manufactures a number of regulators for most any need.
