Description
This transmission is a complete ready to run unit (less the converter) for performance street and mild strip use.
The transmission provides firm shifts and features a standard shift pattern, the finest transmissions available for street and strip use.
The bare case is pressure washed and passages are cleaned using compressed air, while the valve body and its parts that are to be reused are thoroughly cleaned and inspected for cracks, pin holes or wear.
All worn or potentially weak components are replaced to ensure longevity and dyno tested to ensure 100% operation.
The valve body surfaces are checked, while the valves are checked for drag to ensure correct smooth operation.
All gaskets and external seals will be new and will include the cooler line fittings.
It uses a mechanical type speedometer connection.
Suitable for use behind engines producing up to 450lb. ft of torque.
First Gear Ratio 2.46-1 Output spline count - 28.
Uses the larger C4 bellhousing. Requires a 164-tooth flexplate (standard for Pan Fill C4 units). Pan-fill design routes fluid differently than case-fill versions and is generally considered stronger and more durable for performance builds.
